If on me salvation depended
I never could have made it

We were dead but He brought resurrection

I give Him all the glory
I’ve been declared just
Because He live and died for me
I should have been cursed
For not heeding His warning

Of some weeping and mourning
But God
Came in clutch
Like a stick drive
Looking down on us as He sits high
The righteous judge who declares us right

I owe so much to my King

So glad He justified me
Gave me His robe

I used to rumble in the mud
Til He cleaned me
Did the scrubbing with His blood
And He freed me
From doing all the work
What a relief
Cause the product of my work
Is a deep sleep
I was a pervert of a jerk
Before my pre-teens
Before they hung Him there to hurt
He could see me
That’s why He came down to earth
To redeem me
Now I wait for His return
Not a repeat
Because the first time He came
As a meek sheep
His return he’ll be coming
As a King Beast
I got a mean peace in Him
And a big feast with him
He prepared a big dinner
For a measly sinner
See the King He sitting
Where the interceding hitting
For the sin He be forgiving
Gave me a new robe
As he sees me in it
And I can dwell with Him forever
With the brethren together
Yeah that means infinite
Word up my faith is a gift from Him
Cause He paid my debt
When He hung His head
And died now He’s risen
To His throne on high
On the Father’s right side
In life we reign with Him
As He pull us from our evil
We’re peculiar as a people
A new heart and it starts with Him
Justified set apart from sin
